Descripción de la oferta de trabajo:
The Early Intervention in Psychosis service in Oxford Health is a well-established, high quality service providing multidisciplinary team working for all those experiencing a first episode of psychosis in Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire. Our Early Intervention in Psychosis Team has been established since 2006 in line with the requirements of the NSF and provides developmental, supportive and therapeutic interventions to individuals age 14 to 35, experiencing a first episode of psychosis, for the duration of up to three years. The team has been remodelled in the last one year with a focus on improving the transitional care arrangements from adolescence to adulthood with recognition of the need to work more closely with Children and Young People’s services to enable early identification of young people with psychosis and to offer the appropriate support with subsequent treatment. We are a clinical academic service, working alongside researchers from the University of Oxford and with several joint clinical-academic posts within our service. We are at the forefront of undertaking research in the area of early psychosis to better understand the causes of psychosis and the most effective treatments and are then able to directly implement these findings into practice, for the benefit of patients. We are partners of the Oxford AHSN Early Intervention in Mental Health Network and of the NIHR CLAHRC Oxford Early Psychosis research programme, visit the websites.
