Danfoss Power Solutions is looking for a data-driven Supply Chain Consultant with an operational focus to join our team, ensuring that our organization meets future demand, operating as efficiently and effectively as possible.

You will become part of a thriving and motivated team, assuming a versatile and comprehensive role with a wide range of tasks and responsibilities. We have recently implemented a global fulfillment setup, supporting our approach to segmentation, capacity, and leveling of our factories, ensuring we have several supportive tools to build up and maintain a high delivery service.

Job Responsibilities

Your focus will be on running local S&OP processes and facilitating and participating in cross-functional S&OP meetings (locally/globally), as well as engaging in meetings with suppliers. You will also monitor and evaluate demand against forecast and coordinate activities. 

Moreover, you will be responsible for our Supply activities, Production planning, and daily communication and collaboration with Senior Supply Chain Managers, Production Planners, and Order Fulfillment representatives.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Estimating future scenarios, analyzing inventory flows, and building forecasting models to ensure forecast accuracy.
• Conducting monthly forecast maintenance.
• Supporting management with risk assessment and risk mitigation activities.
• Driving or participating in ad-hoc projects aimed at improving Supply Chain efficiency or reducing costs.
• Being responsible for a production area as a planner.
• Driving tasks to ensure a high and stable delivery service.

Background & Skills

You likely have some years of experience in a similar role within Supply Chain or Production planning, coupled with a high interest in these areas.

We will also welcome applications from recent graduates with a degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, or Business Administration, who are highly motivated for developing their skills and gaining experience.

Additionally, candidates should possess:

• Strong mathematical and statistical skills.
• A structured, well-organized, and analytical mindset with a hands-on approach.
• Proficiency with standard office tools such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
• Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with SAP, BW, and/or Power BI is advantageous.
