WHAT TO EXPECT

The role requires strong leadership and management skills to ensure the vehicle lines are continually improving on cost and quality through sufficiency plan management. Strong stakeholder management skills are required to work with other business areas to identify any gaps in initiatives/sufficiency plans and to understand what activities are planned to fill those gaps.

THE ROLE

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and own the performance of the vehicle lines and plant vehicle team to ensure continuous improvement in quality and cost on both internal and external metrics.

Deliver all aspects of change management.

Deliver phase 1 PSW and where Phase 1 is outstanding ensure alerts are in place.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Essential:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Proven long term experience from automotive industry on similar position

Proven ability to interpret and use technical data along with business skills in decision-making

Experience of managing individual performance and teams

Experience of the programme and project delivery processes

Proficient IT literacy and the ability to analyse and present data using IT systems and Microsoft Tool skill sets

Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred

Experience of leading engineering product delivery using project management techniques

Experience in Agile ways of working

English
