What will your day to day look like ?

As part of the responsibilities for this role, here is a list of duties that constitute the day- to- day operations.

However, it is important to note that while these responsibilities are integral to the role, not every task occurs daily.

Manage the group central costs.

Support the allocation of group costs model and recharge journals.

Support group cost reporting by cost functions.

Timely raising of weekly and monthly invoices and Ad-hoc billing.

Actively chasing billing from site managers.

Raising credit notes where applicable.

Error checking, billing back up files, checking data, totals etc.

Emailing of invoices and  credit notes including back up to customers.

Maintaining list of invoice schedule, billed and unbilled.

Liaising with accounts receivable for invoice queries and late payments.

You may be required to support the finance team with other duties from time to time.

What skills do you need for this role?

You require a minimum of intermediate Excel skills.

You are competent to work independently and can multi-task.

You can prioritise your workload and deliver to agreed deadlines.

You are a team player, who is flexible and proactively uses your own initiative.

You have good organisational skills and attention to detail.

You  have strong interpersonal skills and confidence to deal with people at different levels throughout the business.
