We are looking for a skilled Quality Control Engineer/Operator for our client’s physics and nanofabrication laboratory in Copenhagen. The lab is among the largest in Europe and you get to work with cutting edge technology in a highly dynamic environment of scientist, researchers and engineers trying to push the boundaries of computing. This research program is allocated on eight sites distributed over three continents.

We are looking for a Quality Control Engineer/Operator to strengthen our fabrication team operations with quality feedback. As a Quality Control Engineer/Operator, you will be responsible for performing manual and automated measurements according to standardized protocols, composing reports and communicating results with relevant teams.

As a Quality Control Engineer, you will be a key part of the fabrication team, as well as work closely with the characterization team to make sure all relevant processing data is captured in a reliable and standardized way.

Your activities include but are not limited to:

• Data acquisition (OM, SEM, AFM) and parameter extraction following standardized protocols,
• Provide feedback to fabrication team
• Contribute to building a statistical quality control system
• Compose timely reports for the corresponding samples
• Interact with fabrication, characterization, and data analysis teams
• Perform QC and report
• Perform sample prep for QC
• Maintain an excellent information log of all QC activities and transfer data to data warehouse

Qualifications

You should hold a master’s degree or higher in an experimental science (physics, chemistry, nanotech, etc.).

Programming experience, especially with Python, would be a strong plus.

Excellent knowledge of, and direct hands-on experience with optical, scanning electron and atomic force microscopes.

Experience with industrial statistical tools (JMP) – would be an advantage.

Experience in a production environment in a relevant field (such as semiconductor industry) is considered an advantage.
