Public Relations Senior Executive

Murnev Limited trading as Pita Pit of Unit 4, Block C Point Campus, Dublin 1 is seeking a dynamic

and experienced Public Relations Senior Executive to join their Team. As a key member of our

PR department, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic PR campaigns,

fostering positive relationships with media outlets, influencers, and promoting our brand and

products within the food industry. This role requires a creative and innovative individual with a

deep understanding of the food industry landscape and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop compelling and engaging content, such as blog posts, press releases, and social

media updates, pitches on prospective business partners through social and traditional

media channels.

2. Work closely with the marketing department to align PR efforts with advertising

campaigns and product launches, enhancing overall brand impact.

3. Assist in the development of new business proposals and presentations to expand the

client base. Strategizing and developing creative partnerships and alliances focusing on

community outreach.

4. Keep abreast of the latest food industry trends, market developments, and competitor

activities to identify potential PR opportunities and challenges.

5. Track and analyse the effectiveness of PR campaigns and initiatives, regularly providing

management with comprehensive reports containing key performance indicators and

actionable insights.

6. Assist clients in developing organising and executing public relations campaigns and

strategy to assist in building a national network of operators.

7. Develop and utilize tools to evaluate the effectiveness of public relations exercises for

the public image for the company with the objective of being nationwide by 2028.

Preferred Candidate Qualifications:

• A third level degree or a relevant communications or PR qualification/diploma and at least

3 years previous experience in Public and Media Relations or marketing, especially if it

pertains to the food industry or sector.

• Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the

ability to create persuasive and engaging PR content. Proficiency in client and campaign

management.

• Looking for candidates who display genuine enthusiasm for food and have the capability

to positively promote and represent the brand to the public and media.

Required Skills:

• Have a good working knowledge of Adobe tools, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite.

• Proficiency in using PR tools and software for media monitoring and reporting.

Job Type: Full-time/Permanent

Salary: €34,000.00 per year. Bonus to 10% of salary based on achieving certain agreed criteria.

Schedule: 39 hour working week. Office based. Ability to commute/relocate as required.
