Bjarnarhöfn Sharkmuseum is seeking a museum guide.
The position is temporary for one year, from April 2024 until April 2025 and 50%. Work hours are flexible but generally from 12:00 - 16:00.
Requirements:
- English language skills.
- Spanish language skills are an advantage.
- Applicants must have experience from performing and/or presenting in front of a crowd and being able to talk in front of a crowd.
Wages according to collective agreements with Verkalýðsfélag Vesturlands union in Iceland.
Room provided for staff for a monthly rent. Meals provided during work hours for a monthly fee if the employee wishes.
Housing and the museum is located 30 km away from the next municipality.
