For our NOISY MAY Fashion Impact team, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Junior Buyer to support the growth potential of the category.

THE DEPARTMENT

You will be based in our Buying and Design department focusing on NOISY MAY’s Fashion Impact collections. The team consists of 2 colleagues driven by creating collections with a focus on quality, workmanship, and trend. We take pride in influencing women's wardrobes around the world. In addition to the Buying and Design department you will also have a close collaboration with our suppliers as well as our Sales department at NOISY MAY.

THE JOB

As a Junior Buyer in Fashion Impact, you are highly involved in the development of all our collections. From the very beginning, you will be trusted with your own responsibilities, such as placing orders, following up with production and making sure we have all samples here in time for collection meetings just to name a few. This includes regular contact both internally with NOISY MAY colleagues and externally with our suppliers, with whom we expect you to establish and develop strong relations.

More specifically, the job involves:

• Creating styles and assortments in our internal systems
• Commenting and approving fittings in collaboration with our pattern designers
• Preparing sales meetings/internal presentations of collections
• Price calculations, order placing and follow up on deliveries
• Providing daily support to our suppliers and BESTSELLER’s international buying offices

You are passionate about buying and eager to put your skills to use in an international fashion company. As a person, you are foremost very structured, always sticking to your deadlines, without compromising quality. You work well independently, but you are also open, outgoing and a positive team player, who easily communicates and collaborates with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds. 

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Relevant education in buying
• At least 2-3 years of experience from the fashion industry
• Good understanding of figures
• Solid IT skills, including experience working in Excel
• Fluent in English both written and spoken
