Job Title: Head Chef

Employer: Seadfood Specialist Ltd

Location: Bantry co cork

Salary: 35k a year

Hours: 40 hours a week

Responsibilities:

- Lead and inspire the kitchen team to deliver high-quality dishes with impeccable presentation

- Develop seasonal menus that showcase the best of Irish seafood

- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and service

- Collaborate with suppliers to source the freshest seafood and ingredients available

- Maintain strict standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation

- Contribute to the development of our new production and development kitchens, ensuring they meet the needs of our growing business

- Manage other chefs and kitchen staff

Requirements:

- Proven 5 years experience as a Head Chef

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team

- Creative flair and a passion for showcasing Irish seafood in innovative ways

- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
