Financial Controller at Duell

The core of this role is in external accounting processes and principles, group consolidation, and financial reporting. You will have a key role running the developing these processes together with your colleagues and with the support of Duell CFO. This role offers you the possibility to be part of our growth path in Europe, developing our finance and accounting processes aligned with our developing business - and still in a human size organization.

You could be located in our office in Mustasaari (12km from Vaasa city centre) or Tampere with flexible hybrid work possibilities.

Responsibilities & main tasks:

- Group Consolidation

- Group accounting and Reporting principles

- Group monthly reporting procedures

- Business reviews, Half-year financial report, Financial Statement bulletin and Annual Report

- Group process and control environment

- Support for local entities

- Group audit process

- Transfer Pricing documentation

- Development projects

Professional requirements:

- At least five years experience of demanding financial management tasks

- Strong financial competence and ability to prepare fully audited consolidated financial reports (IFRS a benefit, not a requirement)

- Solid knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices

- Proven ability to manage accounting operations and achieve accurate finance reporting on time

- Analytical, ability to prioritize with as systems and process-oriented approach

- Strong IT skills, including MS office programs as well as broad experience in use of accounting and reporting programs

- Good communication skills in Finnish or Swedish and English
