We are building a new team to bring our reporting and data management to the next level. Everything that can be automated will be automated. To fully professionalize the team we are looking for a data engineer with strong skills in software engineering.

Currently we have a team of enthusiastic data engineers working on the automation of data pipelines and report generation. Going forward they will be responsible for data management and insights generation, extending the scope of the team towards analytics.

We want to complete the team with someone who can bring passion and experience for a high quality development process. The ideal candidate enjoys to deliver high quality results in a collaborative environment closely working with our (internal) clients. The team works together with our central data science team in Bratislava allowing them to grow in the analytical areas and get an efficient introduction into our environment. Our aim is to create an environment where our clients have all information at their fingertips minimizing manual intervention. This will allow the team to focus on advancements in insight generation and analytics.

In your daily work, you work with colleagues on automating processes and building new solutions. In the beginning the team focuses on providing our business with better insights and improving the use of their data. Once the basic needs are covered and automated, you and the team will integrate additional data sources and actively discuss new data insights services that support your clients with insights going beyond standard reports.

Key responsibilities:

- Building data pipelines for extraction, preparation, and transformation, analytics and insights generation

- Building visual analysis in dashboards (e.g., PowerBI)

- Partnering with business teams to understand the problems and designing scalable solutions to improve business outcomes

- Actively propose insights and solutions that involve statistics and machine learning models
