Data Stewardship Coordinator (Grade VI) (Fixed-Term Wholetime) (Reference: 463/2024)

Reporting to the Open Research Support Unit Lead, the Data Stewardship Coordinator is a key professional role in the TU Dublin Research Support Services, with the post-holder is expected to assist in the planning and development of this new Open Research Support Unit (ORSU).

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and coordinating efforts in Data Stewardship across TU Dublin, from ensuring appropriate resources are in place at project inception, advising on infrastructure such as storage and software, t delivering training, to supporting effective Research Data Management (RDM) across projects, and finally to ensuring quality outputs at the end of research projects, and their appropriate dissemination. They will advise management on gaps within the infrastructure that need to be addressed, and where possible find and propose solutions.

Working across the University, the Data Stewardship Coordinator will offer guidance, training and support to the TU Dublin research community to effectively manage and disseminate their research data and other related outputs, e.g., software, code, maximizing adherence to FAIR (Findable, Accessibly, Interoperable, Reusable) principles.
