Dependent on the assignment the tasks include the following:

- Addressing technical issues and complexities or cross-technology challenges during acquisition, contract design, implementation, and later routine phases at the interface between customers, service, sales, production, and engineering

- Fostering and managing engineering customer relationships by attending engineering meetings and delivering technical presentations

- Releasing supplements and providing aircraft documentation

- Processing technical, cross-technology customer requirements

- Regularly gathering and analysing customer feedback

- Preparing technical analyses, deriving and initiating optimization measures for the aircraft component maintenance and support process centers, overseeing their implementation

- Evaluating technical trends in the Maintenance Repair Organization market and identifying resulting customer needs, providing insights and feedback

- Advising customer service and sales on questions regarding customer engineering, technical product, and production aspects

- Performing special tasks and collaborating on projects

Ihr Profil:

The ideal Customer Engineering professional should meet the following requirements:

- Degree in a relevant field is required

- Proficiency in English and Italian is required

- Good knowledge in Microsoft Office, SAP is required

- Previous customer service experience, particularly in the aviation industry, is desirable

- Assumption of responsibility for own role

- Responsiveness, dynamism, flexibility in caring out assigned tasks

- Attention to quality of work and reliability

- Ability to prioritize activity assigned

- Cooperation skills

- Effective communication at every organizational level

- Service / Customer Orientation

- Building relationship based on trust with internal and external customers

Lufthansa Technik Milan current capability includes Airbus A320 Family, A330, 737NG, 777, 787 and A350. Since September 2010 Lufthansa Technik Milan is approved for A-Checks on A330 and Base Maintenance on A320 Family enabling it to carry out more extensive maintenance work at the Malpensa base like for example engine and APU changes, structural repairs, complex modification, engine washes, air turbine tests, borescope inspections and full engine run-ups amongst other services.
