Centre Manager. Mid-West. Irlanda

The Board of Directors of Moyross Community Enterprise Centre CLG invites applications for the following full-time position:   Centre Manager

Overview of Role:

The Manager will be responsible for the overall day-to-day operations within this community facility. The Manager will lead a staff team and be responsible for driving the Centre’s activities including: community engagement, community development, increasing revenues, securing new funding lines, managing an agreed annual expenditure budget and identifying and progressing future development opportunities for the Centre.

Key Requirements

•    Relevant third Level qualification in Community Work, Management and/or   experience in a similar role.

•    Experience of community work in areas with a similar socio-economic profile.

•    Bring strategic vision and leadership to the remit of the organisation.

•    Relevant management experience and a successful track record delivering a quality service.  

•    Strong leadership, people management skills with the ability to build a positive culture motivating staff and volunteers.

•    Experience of project development and networking.  

•    A good knowledge of computer and administrative skills.

•    Candidate will need to be available for working day, evenings and/or weekend hours.

The post is subject to Garda Vetting, reference checks and a six-month probationary period. MCEC salary scale applies.
