Tipperary Sustainable Food Company Unlimited Food Company, 46-50 South Great Georges Street, Dublin 2 T/A James Whelan Butchers  are expanding their product offering and are looking to recruit  bread bakers to join their team at Oakville Sc, Kickham Pk, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary E91 FX58.   You will be able to demonstrate a passion for working with traditional ingredients of the highest quality, you will have an eye for detail and precision when producing bread and look for consistency and excellence in all you do.

We want you to specialise in traditional baking methods to produce a quality product for our customers.

Responsibilities

Dough Preparation

  Expertise in mixing and kneading various types of dough, ensuring proper consistency and texture.

Knowledge of fermentation processes to achieve optimal flavour and texture in baked goods.

Baking

Operate and monitor baking equipment, such as ovens and proofers, to achieve the perfect bake.

  Execute precise baking times and temperatures for different products.

Recipe Development

Collaborate with the team to develop and refine recipes.

Experiment with new flavours, ingredients, and techniques to enhance product offerings.

Quality Control

Maintain high standards of quality and consistency in all baked goods.

Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure they meet established criteria.

Cleanliness and Sanitation

Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards.

Keep work areas, equipment, and utensils clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Baker or similar role.

In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and flavour profiles.

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and precision in measuring and executing recipes.

Creativity and a passion for exploring new flavours and techniques.

Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Effective communication skills.
