Academic Administrator. Dublin. Irlanda

This is a full-time position  in Ibat College, Dublin. Our programmes are in the fields of language, business, and IT.

The successful applicant should ideally have previous experience in a busy administration role, dealing with a variety of stakeholders, with trouble-shooting and problem-solving as standard. This experience should preferably be in an education environment though consideration will be given to those with office admin experience in other contexts also.

Typical duties include:

Liaising with English Language students on day-to-day queries.

Maintaining accurate attendance records for students.

Following up with students on poor class attendance.

Liaising with lecturers on their day-to-day queries.

Inputting staff lecturer hours on the Staff Scheduler.

Assisting with coordination of assessments time-scheduling, and assessment results.

Assisting with Moodle trouble-shooting.

Assisting with preparation of academic timetables and calendars at the

start of terms.

Processing applications for extenuating circumstances and deferrals.

Troubleshooting for online classes.

Other activities as may arise.
