JOB DESCRIPTION This vacancy is being advertised on behalf of ambitions personnel who are acting as an employment agency. Ambitions Personnel has an exciting opportunity for people interested in part time work. The hours of work are from Monday to Friday from 6am-2pm & 2pm-10pm, candidates may be required to work overtime when needed. The pay rate is £7.50 with an £0.80 attendance incentive making the hourly rate £8.30 (attendance bonus paid on first 37.5 hours weekly up to £30/week) Candidates must be flexible with hours as the shifts could change. Your duties will include: • Pick and pack orders for dispatch • Load goods for dispatch • Ensure delivery of materials to production lines in accordance with production standards • Check for damaged or missing items • Store goods appropriately • Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a fork lift truck • Input data regarding stock and inventory into a computerised system • Keep paperwork up to date • Ensure that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures • Operate in a safe manner complying with all health, safety and environmental requirements to ensure own and safety of others • Handle any hazardous materials in an appropriate manner • Keep areas of work clean and tidy to ensure operational efficiency PERSON SPECIFICATION • Work in a safe manner and comply with the Health, Safety and Environmental Policies • Achievement Focussed • Makes productive contributions • Team player with a positive effect on the team • Is self aware, resilient, optimistic and open to change • Able to work well as part of a team • Ability to work accurately and methodically • Good numeracy and IT skills • Good communication skills • Ability to plan and organise work • Ability to accurately complete paperwork and count stock items • Flexible approach to duties and tasks • Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure / cost of poor quality BENEFITS • Free on-site parking • Onsite canteen • Friendly team To apply, please contact Cheila Loucao on 01476 574514 or come in to our office between Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.
