PEMCO – Progress Electroplating & Manufacturing Co. Ltd is a leading Manufacturing and Distribution company based in Bray, Co. Wicklow, Ireland supplying the Electrical Wholesale Trade in the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK.

We are looking for a Warehouse Operative. You will be working as part of the warehouse team in order to ensure that the orders are complete, packed correctly, and safely delivered to the correct client. Full training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

    Ensuring all sales orders are accurately picked in a timely manner and despatched according to agreed delivery schedules.

    Picking & loading the van with daily deliveries

    Ensure that no stock leaves stores without the proper paperwork and signatures required for all deliveries.

    Will handle occasional customer queries for collections.

    Daily processing of goods inwards / outwards for the stores

    Carrying out Stock Control Function in the stores

    Organising returns to Suppliers

    Maintaining the stores in a clean and tidy manner

    Keeping good inwards and despatch records

    Use a forklift when required in accordance with standard forklift operating procedures.

Preferred Qualities:

    Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy working environment.

    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    A strong sense of customer focus.

    Capable of working independently, as well as being part of a team.

Required Experience

    Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the in a Stores setting – experience on Electrical Components an advantage

    Fork Lift licence
