As part of our expansion, we are seeking a dedicated and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team and ensure the health and well-being of our livestock.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive veterinary care for livestock, primarily dairy cows, including diagnosis, treatment, and preventative health measures.

Perform routine health checks, vaccinations, and emergency care when necessary.

Advise on animal nutrition, welfare, and disease control to optimise herd health and milk production.

Work closely with farm management to implement effective veterinary care and herd management programs.

Maintain accurate records of treatments, health assessments, and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

Degree in Veterinary Medicine (MVB, DVM, or equivalent).

Strong knowledge of livestock health and welfare, particularly in dairy farming.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and make informed decisions in high-pressure situations.

Previous experience in large animal veterinary practice is an advantage but not essential.
