Job summary: 

We are looking for a talented and passionate UI/UX Designer Intent to join our team. Evvent is an ambitious and innovative startup in the early stages, with a vision to become the leading marketplace for muslim-friendly event services. Our goal is to revolutionize the event planning industry by providing a platform that celebrates diversity, fosters inclusivity, and delivers exceptional customer experiences. 

Please note: This is an unpaid position, ideal for students or individuals looking to gain valuable real-life experience in a team-oriented environment.

As a UI/UX designer intern, you will work closely with our team to create intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces for our event planning platform. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your design skills and gain practical experience in a fast-paced startup environment. 

Responsibilities: 

• Collaborate with the tech team to create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for the Evvent platform. 

• Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform the design process. 

• Create user-centered designs that prioritize usability and enhance the overall user experience. 

• Collaborate with developers to ensure the seamless implementation of designs.

• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and stakeholder input. 

• Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX design trends and best practices. 

Requirements: 

• Currently pursuing a degree in interaction design, graphic design or related competency. 

• Proficiency in Figma Design tool. 

• Familiarity with tools such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop or similar. 

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and processes. 

• Knowledge of responsive design for desktop to mobile app design. 

• Excellent visual design skills with an eye for detail.

• Good communication and collaboration abilities. 

• Ability to receive feedback and iterate on designs. 

• Proficiency in written and spoken English. 

Plus:

+ Proficiency in written and spoken English.

+ Knowledge of 3D tools such as Blender, Spline, Three js is a plus.

+ Knowledge of Tailwind CSS
