Location:     Maghera, Virginia, Co. Cavan

Contract:     Full-time, Permanent (following successful completion of 6mth probationary period)

Salary:     Commensurate with experience

Duties & Responsibilities:

The main duties and responsibilities of the role will include the following:

Performing tyre fitting and maintenance on a variety of vehicles ensuring the safe and efficient installation according to industry standards.

Carry out tyre replacement, puncture repair

Ensure Tracking, Alignment and Torques are correct

Performing planned maintenance, servicing, and repairs to a fleet of trucks and trailers conducting inspections and diagnosing tyre-related issues.

Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

You will be working in the workshop as well as offsite breakdown scenarios.

Respond to daily checks as reported by drivers, to identify and repair non-routine defects, while working to high standards.

Comply with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation in line with the company, RSA and other governing bodies guidelines.

Co-operate fully with all provisions taken by the company for ensuring the Health and Safety, and Welfare of co-employees and members of the public.

Requirements

Previous experience of working as a tyre technician.

Experience working with Heavy goods vehicles an advantage.

A full Irish driving license or equivalent

Ability to act on your own initiative and take responsibility for the quality of your work

The willingness to constantly learn and develop

Good level of English
