Training Executive (Mathematiker/in). Malta

The Training Executive is accountable to the Compliance Lead Coach and Training Leader and is responsible for designing, developing & delivering customized training programs and practical workshops.

- To build and establish a team of local trainers to provide the necessary training requirements

- To integrate the technical training programs in the overall company training plan

- To co-ordinate and organise local training

- To monitor the programs presented in the training plan

- Develop, design, content create, deliver and assess aviation theoretical training and informal training programs in line with industry standards, induction programmes and workshops

- Serve as a catalyst to improve the competencies & skills of the Company’s employees across all departments

- Continually assess training performance improvements

- Support the development of our employees by assisting in review of their training records, On-the-Job Training logbooks and issue Company Authorizations as per Authority Requirements

Ihr Profil:

- Recognised teaching qualification/pedagogical course at MQF Level 6/7 in Applied Sciences and/or Mathematics and Physics

- Teaching qualification in Engineering or related areas of specialisation

- Accrued not less than four years teaching experience in the subject/s highlighted above ideally at post secondary level

- In possession of a Teacher’s Warrant(Permanent)issued by the Council for the Teaching Profession(CTP)under article 24 (2) of the Education Act

- Has a ‘Train the trainer’ course/training experience

- Demonstrate strong organisational skill

- Motivated and able to motivate others

- To work under stress and have a “can do” attitude

- Have ability to read schematics and technical manuals

- Good knowledge of the English language

- Good presentation and communication skills as well as classroom management

Lufthansa Technik Malta Ltd. (LTM) was established in 2003 as a joint venture between Lufthansa Technik AG (92%) and Air Malta (8%). The MRO service provider (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul), based at Malta International Airport in Luqa, provides its customers with line and base maintenance services for short haul and long haul aircraft in the Airbus A320/A330/340/350 series. Initially specializing in C Checks and comprehensive aircraft modifications, the company has now significantly expanded its service portfolio following the construction of a 64,000 square meter hangar complex. The spectrum of services offered has grown to encompass extensive maintenance work with wide ranging capabilities including structural and composite fibre repairs, complex testing procedures and comprehensive cabin refits. The 600 strong workforce can work on up to three long haul aircraft or five medium and long haul aircraft at any one time in the new hangar complex, expanded to cater for wide body aircraft. The hangars are used primarily for C Checks and aircraft overhauls. Lufthansa Technik Malta also collaborates with the renowned Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) for the purpose of training and apprenticeship schemes. The strategically favorable location in the Mediterranean region of southern Europe, with its proximity to Africa and to the Arabian Peninsula, gives Lufthansa Technik Malta a special role within the Lufthansa Group.
