PTS Europe is recruiting a Trading Support Manager to strengthen our business support capabilities and assist the Head of Operations of the Luxembourg trading room. The Head of Operations and the new employee cover a wide range of topics directly impacting the day-to-day operations of the desk, ranging from the improvement of existing processes to the complete creation of new activities.
As a Trading Support Manager, you will fully engage in this constant improvement process and related change management requirements. Additionally, you will also be responsible to oversee incidents resolutions and to supervise outsourced Middle Office functions. To fulfil these duties, you will be required to:
[a] Analyse trading data sets and produce the relevant output;
[d] Run local controls of outsourced activities;
[c] Participate to projects impacting PTS Europe;
[b] Coordinate with the relevant stakeholders to solve identified issues.
You will join a dynamic team with ambitious growth objectives. The position is at Senior level, with a high degree of visibility across the business line. Your responsibilities clearly mark you as a key stakeholder in the success of PTS Europe.
Your role
• Support the Head of Operations of PTS Europe on project management for the EU trading desk.
• Deploy and run the oversight framework for outsourced activities linked to PTS EU (i.e., KPI/KRI collection and reporting).
• Participate in testing campaigns linked to PTS trading tools.
• Interact with Front to Back Office staff and IT support to monitor trading incidents resolution.
• Control and analyse data linked the activities of our EU desk.
Your profile
Experience
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within a medium to large Financial Institution
Technical & soft skills
• Good knowledge of financial products, trading and sales activities.
• Strong data analysis capabilities and related tools proficiency (SQL, Tableau, XLS…).
• Previous experience as a project manager strongly required.
• Autonomous with problem-solving skills.
• Excellent presentation and organisational skills.
• First-class interpersonal skills and a team-player.
Language skills
• Fluent in French and English; German would be a plus.
