Guiding customers on the excursions and activities in Levi. Often combining guiding and driving.

Main work place / area: Scandinavian Travel Group office / Levi resort, Lapland.  

Main working language in the office: English.

Working languages with clients: Spanish, French, English.

Work schedule: according to agreement.

Excursion-type of activities: reindeer and husky farms visits, snow hotel, day-trips, and outdoor adventure and evening type of activities: snowshoeing, fat-biking, ice-fishing, Northern Lights programs.

If you have guiding experience in Lapland or North Norway/Sweden, have excellent command of written and spoken English, French / Spanish, good communication skills, driving license of category B minimum,  driving experience in arctic snowy conditions, high-level of self-discipline and are open-minded,  eager to learn something new and keen on storytelling, you are the right person for us!

Required skills/experience/knowledge:

- experience of min. 1 year working as a guide in a travel company in Finland/Scandinavian countries

- drivers license of minimum B cat.

- good driving experience, also in the winter snowy conditions

- open-mindedness

- good memorizing skills to learn lots of new facts and information

- excellent communication skills and being capable to do storytelling to customers

- excellent command of written and spoken English, French / Spanish (min. C1)

- customer-oriented approach

- being pro-active and self-disciplined

- teamworking skills

Duties:

- collecting customers from the meeting point (STG office or accommodation)

- driving to the activity destination, storytelling during the transfer

- guiding at the destination

- outdoor nature activities require some knowledge, skills and preparations for the tour: clothing, equipment, beverages and other supplies.
