About the role

The Port Solutions unit at Konecranes is responsible for e.g. digital experience platforms including developing web applications tailored for clients. We are now looking for a Technical Product Owner to join their team to deliver excellent technology to improve container handling safety, sustainability, and productivity. Working in a large organization involves navigating complex business processes and collaborating with extensive and diverse teams. Therefore, experience in a similar environment is advantageous, as it equips you with the skills and insights needed to excel in this role.

Work tasks

As a Technical Product Owner, you have various responsibilities, and also the freedom to make decisions and create your own role. Your duties include leading the team, delivering digital solutions and translating customer needs into technical solutions. You will prioritize and redefine, organize and plan, and most importantly, cooperate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Translating business requirements into development requirements, specifications, and plans

- Managing the Product backlog, priorities and progress follow-up of the development teams

- Coordination of feature team resources for the flawless execution of development sprints

- Early phase concept creation and service design

- Managing the product development roadmap and aligning the development and release schedule to business activities

- Collaborate with various business units for development transparency and meeting stakeholder expectations

- Work closely with other Product Owners to organize development roadmaps and business development activities

We are looking for

- Suitable education, Bachelor's or Master's degree level preferable in IT

- Previous experience in similar roles (PO, Scrum Master, or Project Manager)

- Experience working as a liaison between different stakeholders

- Experience with different agile and project management methodologies like Scrum, Kanban

- Understanding of Web application development domain

- Practical understanding of principles of DevOps, Lean, and Design thinking

- Certification in SAFe or as a Certified Product Owner

- Good communication and language skills in English

Knowledge of cloud technologies and IT/IoT/Industrial Internet environment is seen as a considerable advantage.
