As a System Engineer you will become a part of a dedicated team with five other system engineers, who are reporting directly to the Manager of Systems Engineering.

As a Systems Engineer your primary assignment is to break down customers’ needs into realizable solutions and defining detailed product requirements. You will be defining main functions and interfaces for a product or a feature so that the project teams can subsequently design, implement, test, and release new products and solutions.

You will both be involved in maintenance of current solutions, but also continuous improvement and impact on future constructions, as you will participate in entire product life cycles from prototype to production and be a support in regard to key decisions, reviews, tests etc. to ensure the technical quality and the link to the product requirements documents.

You will be responsible for:

  • Handling Changes and new feature improvements of existing products

  • Performing trade-off studies for different system configurations and operating strategies.
  • Ensuring safety in products related to gas, pressure, mechanic, and electricity.

Who are you?

To be successful in this role you have at least a couple of years of experience with product development for interdisciplinary products involving cross-functional engineering disciplines (HW, SW, mechanics, Thermal, Energy, Process).

It would be considered a huge advantage with experience with system engineering disciplines such as P&I diagrams, boundary diagrams, risk analysis, FMEA, etc., but with the right attitude and eager to learn we would be open to educating you in some of these areas. Experience within thermal energy or process engineering would also be considered as a plus.

Your educational background is within the engineering field, and as our products encompass all disciplines of engineering, we expect both a strong interest, but also broad professional background where you work from the understanding that there are no set boundaries between software, hardware and mechanics.

On the personal side you are self-driven, result-oriented and it comes natural for you to take ownership of your assignments. You are structured in your way of working and you utilize this to follow-up on assignments delivered from System Engineering and completed by other engineering teams with the focus on working within timelines and expected quality. While working in and across the teams, you have good interpersonal skills and is respectful of other people and their opinions.

You have a strong desire and ability to solve difficult technical challenges through innovation, dedication, and cooperation, and you see it as an exciting challenge to dive into the technicalities of our solutions to become an expert within the field.
