We are currently recruiting a Survey Technician to join our Monitoring Department. This is a great opportunity for an experienced and skilled Monitoring Specialist to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The successful applicant will be responsible for our geotechnical and geodetical monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review and interpret project specifications;
• Determine suitable equipment for structural health and environmental monitoring;
• Plan and lead monitoring sensor installations;
• Setup monitoring software and oversee data collection and processing;
• Perform data analysis and interpretation
• Prepare reports with results and present them to Project Managers and clients;
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with specifications;
• Assist with decision-making and project risk management.
Requirements:
• Degree in Geography or Geographic Information Science
• Minimum of 3+ years’ experience in the geospatial/surveying industry
• Setup monitoring software knowledge and experience
• Understanding of surveying and monitoring or sensor communication
• Knowledge of structural health and environmental monitoring
