Stoll Knitting Operator. Irlanda

Main purpose of the job:

Albion Knitting Company, a luxury flatbed knitting factory, is looking for enthusiastic and team minded individuals with knitwear experience and knowledge to join our busy knitwear department.

Duties include

•    Preparing machines for production

•    Cleaning and maintenance of machines

•    Monitoring quality of knitted panels and detecting faults in order to eliminate repetitive problems

•    Preparing production for next stage

•    Ensuring effectiveness of operation and maximized efficiency

•    Addressing any issues to the supervisor

•    Ability to operate multiple machines simultaneously.

•    Making sure that all products are knitted and inspected according to specified quality and quantity

•    Working well as a part of a team

•    Keep work area clean and organized

•    Other related duties are required.

•    Being able to follow instructions clearly

•    Good knowledge of knitwear and stitch construction.

•    Must have strong communication skills and be fluent in the English language

•    Having the ability to trouble shoot technical issues and assess knitting machines for damage

•    Ability to work over time when and if asked

•    Must be able to work night shift
