18 MONTH ROTATIONAL POSTNEWLY QUALIFIED /RTP NURSES Nursing Opportunities in the Division of Medicine at Hillingdon Hospital Are you a qualified Band 5 nurse, a registered nurse who is interested in returning to practice or are you soon to qualify? Would you like support to equip you with the skills required to meet the demands of clinical practice? At Hillingdon we can offer you a Preceptorship Programme, Clinical Supervision and on-going Professional Development, in addition to a wide range of clinical experience. Our rotational programme spans over 18 months and each 6 month assignment offers you exposure to a specific patient cohort and area of practice: 1. Elderly Care – 6 months 2. General Medicine – 6 months 3. Acute care in the Acute Medical Unit AMU, CCU or A/E - 6 months This is an exciting time to join a friendly team of staff in the Division of Medicine who are willing to share their knowledge and skills with you. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust provides acute and specialist services from two sites to a local population of 350,000. Our services include; accident and emergency services, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. Hillingdon is situated in North West London close to Heathrow airport and is the second largest London borough. Our modern treatment centre at Mount Vernon in Northwood offers routine inpatient services, diagnostics and outpatient clinics.
