About the role

Konecranes is creating a simulation environment for a crane system. The simulation environment has been partially developed, with the crane interface integrated to allow the logic to communicate with the environment. The next step involves building the crane's operational functionality - for example, ensuring the crane responds appropriately when the control lever is moved. In this role, you will be coding the logic and implementing various actions, e.g., emergency stops and setting gate limits. In addition, you will be participating in database work.

We are looking for

-Relevant educational background e.g. in IT or automation

-Some prior experience with PLC programming (preferably Siemens)

-Knowledge of how mechanical devices work

-Good understanding of physics

It is meritorious if you have:

-Prior experience with Unity

-Prior experience working with databases

-Any prior experience with simulation environments

Knowledge can be gained through education, experience or self-taught.
