For our client situated in both Belgium and Aachen (Germany) we are urgently looking for a OT production-lab PC builder to start immediately. 

You will manage a new project in Aachen and will have to follow 2 weeks onsite training in Belgium 

Projects is forecasted until november - After that you may be asked to join the local production-lab support team

English + German (huge plus)

Project responsibilities

• provide complex technical support, planning and coordination and reporting for the distributed computing environment, including desktop, software and Hardware problems. Both Windows and Linux

• Train your own back-up engineer that will start as soon as you settle in

• perform installation diagnostics and troubleshooting of desktop computers, operating systems, instrument connections, application software and Hardware technologies and related problems.

• act as a technical liaison between user groups and other IT partners for system support and implementation. Provides an effective interface between users, vendors, IT partners and consultants in evaluating technical issues and products.

• build and support workstations according to customer Windows and Linux standards and processes.

• build and support IoT devices, printers, scanners and associated peripherals.

• manage and support ITIL processes (Incident/Request/Change/Problem) in accordance with the customer's IT service management tools and procedures.

• facilitate customer network connectivity in the appropriate Firewall zone for systems approved for use by the Information Security and Risk Management Department (ISRM).

• maintain documentation of stand-alone applications and configurations in runbooks.

• design system administration solutions for various project and operational needs.

• create and modify scripts or applications to perform tasks.

• maintain best practices in managing systems and services in all environments.

• perform troubleshooting, analysis and logging of information for performance reporting.

• collaborate with other teams and team members to develop automation strategies and implementation processes.

• master writing technical documentation for Hardware, software and IT change management.

• work independently with little to no direct supervision in the analysis and implementation of solutions to meet business requirements.

• demonstrate creativity and initiative in problem solving.

• keep abreast of advanced technical skills, equipment and technologies.

• assist with defined project deliverables, manage production and lab system maintenance and oversee the successful execution of services.
