Job Position: Ship builder

Ideal Candidate:

• Is able to build hydraulic piping systems (without isometric drawings);
• Is able to build sanitary piping systems (without isometric drawings);
• Is able to build welded piping systems in black and stainless steel, dimensions 1–8”, onboard a ship (without isometric drawings).

Job description:

• ”Design” and manufacture piping system, based on available input. 
• Take measurements for pipings lengths onboard, including placement of bends and ”parallel bends” in piping clusters.
• Fit pipe mounts onboard.
• Cut pipes, chamfer pipe ends and create seats for seal rings. 
• Select/pick the correct ermeto fittings in the open warehouse.
• Assemble the system.
• Cut pipes.
• Tack-weld the full piping system onboard.
• Dismount. 

Technical drawing test will be held during online interview.
