MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

The position requires knowledge of fixed income and equities trade settlement processes for domestic and foreign currencies and depositary systems (Clearstream, Euroclear, DTC, SIX SIS…).

Practice of English is mandatory.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will be in charge of the settlement of our trades in the different markets.

    Perform day-to-day operation duties of trading settlement operations ( Bonds, Shares, Structured products ) in an accurate and efficient manner,

    In GTMatch add comment on reason related to failing trade in security part and cash part

    Contact with brokers and different departments like Security master Team, Securities trading Operations /treasury team/ cash department/ trading desk

    Setup swift instructions in GTlink when necessary

    Create Internal and external reports

    Chase CP regularly on their short sales (at least once a week)

    Prematch trades on SD-1 with counterparties, amend trades for any discrepancies for unmatched trades to ensure that trades settle on settlement dates to fail fees or possible buy-in

    Setup SSI in Globus for new broker

    Contact with different departments like treasury, cash and trading.

    Cash and Securities reconciliation daily

    Collateral instruction swift + booking

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The candidate must be able to work in a team and should be able to assimilate the volumes when the activity is high.

Be a good team-player, proactive, self-motivated, and positive learning attitude

Able to work independently under time pressure

A good knowledge of the different systems will be an advantage (Globus – GTmatch– GTExchange (formerly Stelink) or swift)
