Service Receptionist | Thurles, Tipperary | Full Time | €26,000 with room to move for the right candidate | Training will be provided

Join our client, who offers the complete Renault and Dacia range of cars and commercial vehicles, supported by a cutting-edge service and parts facility.

In this exciting role, you'll excel in managing customer service and repair requests with unparalleled efficiency, ensuring an exceptional customer experience every time.

You'll also have the chance to work with the team to organise and streamline the workshop to maximise productivity, engage in follow-up and prospecting activities to boost workshop volume, promote the sale of accessories and parts, and oversee the reception area, including handling phone inquiries.

Are you the right person for the job?

Main Dealer experience preferred

2+ years' experience in a busy garage/workshop

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure

Punctual and reliable

What will your role look like?

Greet customers, address their queries, and handle incoming calls

Schedule appointments, plan arrival times, and manage customer details

Establish onward travel arrangements, notify customers of pick-up points, and organise loan car insurance

Load the workshop using the ADP/CDK/Kerridge System, monitor progress, and ensure delivery times are met

Promote accessories and clothing, complete repair orders, and inform customers about prices and delivery times

Conduct follow-up calls, provide updates on goodwill claims, and maintain customer contact systems

Maintain customer records, answer correspondence, and file workshop documentation

Type letters, quotations, and emails; process change of ownership and used car warranty paperwork; register cars, arrange NCT appointments

Write up estimates, process job cards, and organise sublet invoices

Maintain high standards in customer contact areas

Understand and follow the manufacturer's warranty requirements and ensure proper documentation
