Senior Private Markets Monitoring Analyst (m/f). Luxemburgo

Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?

The Senior Private Markets Monitoring Analyst is responsible for performing adequate assessment of the valuation, the capital transactions and the risks linked to Private Equity and Real Estate funds or any other alternative assets with limited liquidity and transferability (Non-Traditional Assets – NTA), in order to mitigate financial, operational, legal and reputational risks.

Your responsibilities will be as follows:

    Review and analysis of standard private equity transaction documentation;

    Assessment and plausibility controls of the valuation of existing private investments as well as risk factors related to that type of investment within an insurance policy;

    Close supervision and coordination of re-structuring and corporate actions on existing positions in private assets;

    Coordination with internal and external partners;

    Proper documentation and filing of collected and analysed documentation;

    Supporting the periodic reporting of the NTA key figures to Senior Management;

    Accurate application of the corporate NTA policy and NTA procedure.

Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Senior Private Markets Monitoring Analyst?

    Master (Bac +4) in finance, corporate law or business administration;

    3-5 years' experience in Private Equity or Real Estate fund administration through a Management Company, a bank's Private Equity desk or an audit firm;

    Strong capabilities in analysing financial reports, valuation of Non-Traditional Assets and understanding corporate finance agreements;

    Hands on attitude

    Good knowledge of MS Excel;

    Service-oriented and solution finder attitude;

    Sensitivity to risks in order to perform adequate assessments of the risks for the insurance company as owner of the Non-Traditional Assets;

    Strong team player and strong communication skills, eager to learn;

    Proficiency in English. Fluency in French is a strong advantage, any other European language would be considered as an asset.

    Post-graduate degree as CAIA or CFA

    Knowledge of the Luxembourg fund industry regulatory requirements
