Senior Fund Controller F/M - AIF. Luxemburgo

My client is a leading wealth and asset manager in Luxembourg. As a Senior Fund Controller, you will join the Fund Accounting - AIF Team (6 persons).

Your main tasks :

    Perform NAV calculations and reviews for Alternative Investment Funds, including Hedge Funds and Funds of Hedged Funds.

    Participate in various ad hoc business tasks such as audits, tests, projects, controls, business improvements, client relationships, and NAV Production Support.

    Ensure adherence to procedures, working instructions, checklists, and presentations.

    Handle queries and escalations from internal and external clients or auditors promptly and appropriately.

    Demonstrate familiarity with Hedge Fund structures, NAV cycles, portfolio components, investment policies, and accounting treatments.

    Conduct regular reviews of NAV exceptions to ensure accurate and timely documentation.

    Identify and mitigate operational risks related to fund activities.

    Resolve escalated issues and provide support and information to team accountants.

    Train and support Junior Fund Accountants to ensure their development and team performance.

Your profile :

    University degree in finance, accounting, or controlling.

    At least 4/5 years of experience in fund accounting.

    Experience using Multifonds.

    Knowledge of foreign currency hedging and asset pooling techniques.

    Excellent communication skills and problem-solving.

    Rigorous and able to handle stress effectively.

    Fluency in French with an intermediate level in English (B1).
