SENIOR CREDIT ANALYST  

CDI / full time on site (w/m/x)

Major duties & responsabilities :

• Origination of credit loans for the bank, identifying new opportunities concerning syndicated loans based on the assessment of the borrower's creditworthiness, the review of the term sheets, the analysis of the credit structure and the credit and pledge agreement, negotiating with the sales force and executing the trade.

• Preparing credit memos of the new proposal for Credit Committee, including lombard loans and corporate bilateral loans.

• Assessment of credit application, pre-compliance, risk and documentation: analysing of potential transactions, including credit structures, balance sheet analysis, cash-flow analysis, enforcement rights, credit and profitability enhancement, collateral and legal documentation.

• Managing the ongoing monitoring of existing credit portfolio and preparation of regular reporting, analysing the industry and geography exposure of the credit portfolio, evaluating the amendment and waiver request and the renewal request.

• Managing the ongoing monitoring of lombard credit collaterals, monitoring the market value of the pledged securities and promptly warning the management in case the guarantee value goes below the level reported in the pledge agreement.

• Interact with internal and external auditors or the Compliance department in order to collect and control the information needed for the credit records

• Periodically checks the conformity and completeness of the client's files as well as the different credit guarantees

• Controls the credit approvals and ensures they are signed by the appropriate autorisation body of the bank

• Manages the procedures for the granting of credit lines in their totality

• Maintains the payment schedule and manages customer reminder letters (i.e. payments, renewals, document updates)

• Manages the credit renewals as well as the corresponding rates, ensures the follow-up with the clients

• Prepares relevant periodic reporting documents for the follow-up of the credit activity (i.e. exchange rates, Lombard loans, payment schedule, etc.) and sends them to the Management

• Prepares periodic documents for the parent company

Profile:

• Master's degree in economics or financial fields

• Minimum 5 years' professional experience in the banking sector within a Credit Analyst

• Familiarity with banking products and financial instruments

• Sense of discretion and confidentiality

• Autonomy and sense of responsibility

• Excellent oral and written communication in Italian and English, French would be an asset
