Role Summary

The Senior Chef de Partie is a key member of our kitchen. The role involves the preparation of high-quality dishes and ensuring that all food is produced to the highest standards of quality and consistency. The Senior Chef de Partie plays a vital role in maintaining a well-organised, efficient, and

professional kitchen environment.

The Role

Maintain high standards of culinary skill in preparation, cooking, and presentation of all food,

in line with kitchen standards.

Assist with stock control, rotation and preparing food costs.

Liaise with the Head Chef and kitchen team at all times.

Take a lead role in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency and adherence to recipes and quality standards.

Ensure kitchen service is efficient.

Delegate duties as needed.

Help plan and create menus.

Adhere to and enforce the kitchen's strict hygiene and service standards.

To operate in a safe and responsible manner with recognised techniques.

The Candidate

Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.

Culinary degree or equivalent professional training preferred.

Strong culinary skills and knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and cuisines.

Excellent leadership and supervisory abilities.

Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Strong organisational and multitasking skills.

High standards of cleanliness and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Passion for food and dedication to culinary excellence.
