Paf have recently released the first version of their application, a journey they only just started, with a lot of work to be done ahead. We are helping them find a skilled iOS developer who wants to join them on that journey. Is that you?

THE TEAM & PRODUCT

The team you'll be joining develops and maintains several apps for both iOS and Android. These apps operate across various markets and brands. The team is responsible for the entire stack, from app development to the underlying infrastructure in AWS.

You will enter the product in an early stage that will continue to be developed for a long time ahead – granting you a lot of freedom to set the frames with the team, working with both improvement and innovation.

Check their tech-radar out to see which technologies are coming, which they use, and which they are phasing out.

YOUR ROLE

You will focus on the iOS application where you will be engaged in the entire development process, from requirement specification, story creation, and estimation to development, testing, release, and maintenance.

You are expected to have a deep understanding of the platform to be able to recommend changes in architecture and grasp their long-term implications.

WHO YOU ARE

The team today is characterized by an open-minded atmosphere where everyone is welcome and involved in the process. Therefore, we are looking for someone who easily engages with others and values working in a team to achieve common goals. Being super skilled as a developer is one thing, but you’re also humble and open to learning new things.

Seen to the technical aspects of the role, you should have:

    + 5 years of experience with iOS development

    Working experience with Swift and Swift UI

    Some experienceor interest in working with Swift concurrency

Additional skill sets that will be interesting to Paf:

    TypeScript

    AWS or other cloud platforms.

They don’t look too much at formal education and diplomas, a lot can be compensated with:
