This position reports to Sales Manager.

Your role and responsibilities

Do you want to make own impact for the Finland carbon neutral targets? Approximately 70% of Finland electricity is consumed in electrical motors. Energy efficient motors and drive control play major role towards the net zero goals. Join our market leading company and our team responsible for the Drives and Motors and be part of the energy efficiency movement.

We are looking for a Segment Sales Manager to develop our solutions in the machinery segment. In this position you get chance to develop the efficiency and performance of machine building in Finland with responsibility area for ABB Drives. You would work with the existing customers and develop also new accounts within your segment responsibility area.

The location for the position can be Helsinki or other agreed location in Finland. Work requires willingness to travel in Finland.

The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

Developing partnership with the customers. Creating and maintaining strong customer relationships through excellent service and knowledge of customer needs and ABB solution

Sales responsibility of ABB Drives

Business development responsibility of ABB Drive Train (PLC, Drives, Motors)

Providing customer service and technical support to customers

Business development and acquisition of new customers in the machinery OEM segment

Generating and innovating ideas related to the development of ABB solutions with the OEM hub team

Developing go-to-market model related and channel partners to support your selected segment

You will join a talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.

Qualifications for the role:

You are self-driven and business development oriented

You have a customer-oriented mindset, and you are a team player with great social skills

It is essential that you are at ease in communicating in Finnish and in English, both written and spoken

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in engineering or economics or equivalent is essential

Technical knowhow related to electrical motors, drive systems and PLCs is relevant

Experience in industrial applications and solutions is essential

Sales experience is a plus
