Successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with the the day to day running of a small service comprising of Afterschool Children.  

He/she will be responsible for the curriculum planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities for children aged 5-12 years as well as the supervision of homework.

He/she will need to have sufficient communication skill to liaise with parents of the service as well as colleagues.  

Knowledge of Aistear and Siolta practices are essential, and knowledge of High Scope is a distinct advantage.  

First Aid Responder Training and Manual Handling would be a distinct advantage. Tusla Child Protection Training is essential.
