Road Sweeper Driver. South-West. Irlanda

Overview:

Due to the growing demand for our services, CMP Road Planing is looking to expand its team by hiring Full Time Road Sweeper Operators for our Cork Depot. The ideal candidate will have experience driving Left Hand Vehicles and hold a clean C license with updated CPC. This role primarily involves working Monday to Friday with various locations throughout Cork and the surrounding area, predominantly on Construction Sites. A Safe Pass is required for this position. We offer very competitive rates for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

    Operate road sweeping machinery efficiently and safely.

    Perform routine maintenance on the sweeper to ensure its optimal performance.

    Follow designated routes to sweep roads and construction sites.

    Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the sweeper.

    Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the work area and equipment.

    Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.

Requirements:

    Previous experience operating road sweepers or similar heavy machinery is preferred.

    Experience driving Left Hand Vehicles is advantageous.

    Must hold a clean C license with updated CPC.

    Safe Pass certification is required.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.

    Good communication skills.

Working Conditions:

    Full Time position, Monday to Friday.

    Various locations throughout Cork and the surrounding area.

    Work primarily on Construction Sites.

    Outdoor work environment, exposure to varying weather conditions.

    Physical ability to operate machinery and perform manual tasks.
