Retail/Deli Assistant. Border. Irlanda

Looking for positive, hardworking and conscientious staff.  We are recruiting position for Deli Assistant/Retail (part time) Day time - 20+HRS per week - must be flexible and be able to communicate positively and effectively with customers .

Duties to include some or all of the following: serving over a busy Deli; making, preparation to order and till operation. Ensuring the highest standards of compliance with HAACP and Food Safety requirements.

Fluency in the English language is essential.  

Would suit someone who is conscientious, flexible and works well as part of a small team and on own initiative.

To prepare and serve high quality food offering in an efficient and cost-effective manner

To practice efficient stock management and portion control

To maintain clean facilities and a clean work environment in accordance with HACCP legislation

To prioritise customer care and service, ensuring promotion of Store and Deli

To ensure that the deli checks assigned are carried out in accordance with your training

The Deli Assistant will be responsible for the preparation of high quality hot and cold deli products and ensuring customer satisfaction

    Ideal candidate will have:

       Excellent communication skills

       Strong attention to detail, organised and flexible

       Ability to use own initiative and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

       A passion for food , creativity & imagination

       Customer focused

       Conversational English skills

Applicant must be legally entitled to work within Ireland and the EU.

Ideal candidate will be creative and have a minimum of 1 year food experience

As part of a small team, staff must be flexible & adaptable to all retail operations within store.
