About Us:

Join the opening team of Ristorante Piccolo, a new Italian cuisine restaurant set to bring authentic flavors, exceptional service, and an inviting atmosphere to Iceland! We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Manager to lead our team in creating memorable experiences for our guests from day one.

Position Overview:

The Restaurant Manager will oversee the daily operations of our new establishment, with a focus on team development, customer satisfaction, and quality control. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced manager with a passion for Italian cuisine and a commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient restaurant management.

Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing team that delivers excellent customer service.

Maintain quality control for both food and beverages to meet authentic Italian standards.

Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests with professionalism.

Manage inventory, ordering, and vendor relationships to ensure a well-stocked kitchen and bar.

Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain guests, from marketing initiatives to special events.

Monitor performance metrics, such as sales, costs, and customer feedback, to improve restaurant performance.

Collaborate with the chef and kitchen team to keep the menu fresh, seasonal, and true to Italian traditions.

Requirements:

Experience as a Restaurant Manager, preferably within fine dining cuisine.

Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, both front-of-house and back-of-house.

Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to build, train, and motivate a team.

Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.

Organizational skills and attention to detail.

Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Icelandic language is a plus or willingness to learn is an advantage.
