How will you contribute?
In the framework of the Safe-Hire project, you will be mainly in charge of:
• Designing and prototyping AI solutions and LLM-based tools aimed at automating and optimizing services, with a focus on enhancing transparency, fairness, and robustness.
• Investigating and implementing privacy-preserving techniques within the AI-powered solutions, ensuring the responsible use of data in compliance with global regulations such as GDPR and the AI Act.
• Participating in research on bias detection and mitigation strategies within LLMs and AI algorithms, developing frameworks that promote trustworthiness.
• Contributing to the creation of guidelines and best practices for the responsible and trustworthy deployment of LLMs in specific fields, with a focus on explainability, human oversight, and ethical usage.
• Exploring and integrating security measures that protect sensitive data, including data anonymization, encryption, and secure data sharing practices, while maintaining model performance.
• Assessing, documenting, and disseminating the effectiveness of developed technologies through rigorous testing, publications, and technical reports, ensuring they meet the required standards.
• Performing technological/engineering/RDI duties with autonomy under general supervision.
You will be instrumental in promoting the research activities carried out through publications, prototype development, and technical reports, ensuring the project's impact is widely recognized.

Education
• Master's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related disciplines.
Experience and skills
• Proficiency in programming skills, particularly in Python, with experience in frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch, and familiarity with LLM-specific libraries such as Hugging Face Transformers, LangChain, or similar.
• Proven track record in the development and application of Large Language Models, including fine-tuning, transfer learning, and continuous training techniques.
• Proven skills in practical applications and deployment of AI/ML solutions and some knowledge in cybersecurity to address the challenges in developing ethical and secure solutions that are compliant with the relevant regulations.
• Understanding of data protection principles, including GDPR, data anonymization, and secure data management practices, especially in the context of LLM deployment.
Are considered a plus:
• Familiarity with cybersecurity practices, focusing on secure data handling, privacy-preserving AI, and the protection of sensitive information in AI-driven systems.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices.
• Some knowledge of regulatory compliance for AI systems, including knowledge of the AI Act, ethical AI guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of trustworthy AI principles, including fairness, explainability, and robustness, especially in the context of LLMs, is highly desirable.
• Domain knowledge / in-depth understanding of HR processes will be considered an asset.
Language skills
• Fluency in English is required. Knowledge of French is an advantage.
