Full-time post-doctoral position. This is a fixed-term-position for 12 months with the possibility of extending the contract (position for academic qualification corresponding to § 65 HHG i. V. m. § 2 Abs. 1 Satz 2 WissZeitVG).

Tasks:

Independent coordination and conduction of research projects in the area Physical Chemistry of Nanomaterials. The research focus shall lie in one of the following topics: theory or experiments of transport of light and light-matter interaction, random matter, disorder, strongly correlated electron materials, 2D-materials. The successful candidate is expected to cooperate in existing and planned research projects, and participate in teaching (internships, seminars and lab courses in physical chemistry).

Requirements:

Candidates are required to have completed an outstanding doctorate or PhD in nanoscience, chemistry, or physics following a corresponding academic Master degree. They should be highly skilled and motivated for research. Very good proficiency in English and interest in interdisciplinary problems are expected. Programming skills and experience in organic functional materials are advantageous. The degrees required for this position must have been obtained by the starting date at the latest.
