Regulatory Information Management System (RIMS) Team in R&D IT, Regulatory Solutions is looking for a Release Manager. RIMS is the IT system used by Novo Nordisk to handle and maintain registration status information on a country by country basis for all drug products and medical devices in Novo Nordisk. The system is used by Regulatory Affairs to keep the health authorities updated and by Quality Assurance (QA) in Product Supply for batch release. About the department The position is located in Bagsværd in Novo Nordisk. You will be part of our RIMS team where we are responsible for operation of the IT system including; support processes, new potential changes and the release lifecycles. The team consist of 7 people located in Denmark and India. Working closely with Regulatory Affairs (RA) and QA in Product Supply, we ensure the IT system is able to support their business processes optimally. An open and honest dialogue is a core value and we set ambitious goals to which we are committed as a team. Releases are made in close cooperation with IT QA the vendor located in India and our IT operation team located in China. The department is part of Corporate IT. Beside RIMS the department have 3 more teams supporting a number of IT systems owned by Regulatory Affairs. The position As Release Manager you will be responsible for driving changes, system corrections and maintenance releases. You will be responsible for the progress and the quality of the releases. As a natural part of the project you will be in close dialogue with users, IT analysts, vendors and IT QA. Beside Release Management, you will further be expected to contribute to the problem investigation and coordination on the system in order to mature and strengthen our ability to support the users. We seek a structured person able to keep a project on track and with understanding of the business processes. You will use your skills to both go in to detailed analysis as well as keeping the overview. Qualifications You have a relevant Master’s degree and detailed knowledge of working with GxP in practice from the pharmaceutical industry. You have good communication and planning skills and you have a good understanding of the business processes covered. You need to have a proven record of managing projects and people. Either you have experience of the business processes from the user’s perspective (RA or QA) or from a position as IT analyst within a relevant IT system. Further experience within validation of IT systems is an absolute advantage. You have a quality mind-set with attention to details and know the importance of meeting challenging deadlines. You are able to both go in to detailed analysis as well as keeping the overview and setting direction in the processes you manage. As a person, you are dedicated to your tasks, a team player, have a good sense of humour and enjoy a busy, professional but also informal atmosphere.
