Position Summary

An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team and lead the implementation and coordination

of our newest pillar, RecruitME. RecruitME is a project designed to boost the employability of

our beneficiaries and link them with local employers who have suitable opportunities for

employment. The RecruitME Refugee Recruitment Officer will lead the project in cooperation

with and under the guidance of the Project Coordinator and be responsible for all phases of the

project.

The Recruitment Officer will identify suitable project participants and support them throughout

the RecruitME process, including: CV and interview preparation, providing employment-specific

training and ongoing job-search support. A key responsibility of the Recruitment Officer will be

to develop links with local employers to create employment/internship opportunities for the

association's beneficiaries and maintain these relationships long-term. The role involves keeping

all project related databases up to date and reporting on project outcomes to our key

stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities

The RecruitME Refugee Recruitment Officer's key responsibilities include:

● Identifying project participants and introducing them to the RecruitME process, providing ongoing support throughout all phases

● Development and facilitation of employment search support material & training – e.g. CV writing, interview preparation, applications etc.

● Coordination of recruitment packs for project participants (inc. video) and organising sessions with the media provider

● Liaising with our project sponsors to develop support sessions for project participants (including potential upskilling opportunities)

● Developing and maintaining links with local employers to create work experience/internship and employment opportunities

● Develop strategies (trainings, tools, mediation sessions) to offer to employers to address potential obstacles and misunderstandings in a multicultural working environment

● Conducting regular job market research and analysis and distributing job openings amongst project participants

● Organisation of project events to bring local employers and beneficiaries together

● Attending workshops & events to promote project and acting as a representative for the association

● Representing RYSE and RecruitME at job inclusion platforms and conferences

● Providing regular reports to key stakeholders

● Ensuring project databases are kept up to date

● Assisting in the preparation of project related marketing materials; concept, design and execution

● All general administration duties related to the project

Requirements

● Verbal and written fluency in both French and English are essential. Verbal fluency in Luxembourgish is an advantage. All other languages are considered a plus.

● Experience or Bachelors degree in Human Resources field essential

● Experience working or volunteering within the social field is a must; experience with refugees, and an understanding of their situation and needs in Luxembourg is considered a plus

● Proactivity and ability to work independently to lead a project

● Flexibility - ability to adapt to a variety of tasks and to work in a fast-changing working environment

● Excellent communication skills with the ability to foster and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and local employers

● Understanding of cultural differences and ability to interact with people from different backgrounds

● Organised, efficient and able to work on a variety of tasks simultaneously

Working Conditions

Full time contract based on a 40 hour week. Hours to be worked within the normal working week (between 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday). Occasional evening and weekend work may be required. Overtime worked to be taken in lieu. Hours will be predominantly worked in office, with occasional remote working when agreed and with statutory breaks provided.
