We are seeking a technically proficient and self-driven team member to be an engaged and valued contributor to our internal testing and quality assurance infrastructure. You will interact with a wide variety of engineers to plan, support, execute and analyze flight and component tests to guarantee a high level of quality in our products. With your self-driven approach to work, you will significantly impact how we develop and grow quality assurance infrastructure and processes at Verity!

The global leader in autonomous indoor drone systems, Verity's integrated inventory tracking systems enable zero-error warehouses for some of today’s most notable big-box retailers, third-party logistics providers, and manufacturers. Our live events solutions help create stunning effects for top names in the entertainment industry like Drake, Céline Dion, Metallica, and Cirque du Soleil. We continuously reach beyond existing limitations to rethink, reimagine, and rework the role of robotics in the world today.

What you’ll do

•    Perform drone system tests, identifying issues related to software, hardware, and controls sub-systems

•    Maintain and update Verity in-office flight spaces and drones

•    Organize, prepare, and execute flight test schedules

•    Communicate with the development team through periodic detailed reports and statistics collected during the tests

•    Write incident reports and provide engineers with the information required to address issues

•    Assist in designing and improving test methodologies and procedures

•    Document test procedures and results

What you bring

•    Completed apprenticeship or similar qualification in electronics, automation, mechanics, or manufacturing field

•    First work experience with quality control and quality assurance procedures a plus

•    Good computer skills with knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu) and MS Office Suite

•    Good communication skills in English

•    Ability to understand a complex technical system on a high level and dive into technical details as necessary

•    Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily workload and to work autonomously
