Einleitung We are looking for an experienced Senior PostgreSQL Support Database Engineer to lead and expand our Support Operations team. Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of PostgreSQL databases in Kubernetes environments using operators. Provide expertise in database performance tuning, query optimization, and high availability solutions, including Patroni. Develop and maintain comprehensive monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus and Grafana. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of databases with applications and infrastructure. Act as a subject matter expert in troubleshooting and resolving complex database-related incidents. Mentor and guide junior database engineers in adopting best practices and methodologies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of database processes and automation. Manage and prioritize tasks efficiently while ensuring high standards of database reliability and security. Qualifications: Extensive practical experience with the administration of PostgreSQL databases Strong knowledge of monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git Nice to have: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience with Jira for issue tracking and project management. Proven expertise in high availability solutions, particularly with Patroni. In-depth knowledge of Kubernetes operators for PostgreSQL and OpenShift.
